2023 Sierra Madre Vineyard Pinot Gris

We crafted our first vintage of Pinot Gris from the iconic Sierra Madre Vineyard. Pinot Gris is from the Alsace region of France which is just above Burgundy and next to Champagne and is a perfect complement to our Burgundian Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines.

This wine bursts with juicy tropical flavors of pineapple and lychee with a hint of white peach. Our winemaker aged this wine for 5 months in neutral oak barrels to add a soft mouthfeel and note of honey. The finish is long and accented with wet stone.

Pairing Suggestion:
The juicy flavors in this wine are an ideal pairing for creamy polenta or brie cheese topped with apricot jam.
