2021 Rancho Real Vineyard Grenache

Santa Maria Valley

The Rancho Real Vineyard is known for steep hillside topography, sandy soils and maritime influence from the nearby Pacific Ocean. These combine to produce grapes layered with deep and complex flavors.

Our Grenache is inspired by Grenache crafted from the Rhône region of France. As with traditional Grenache, this wine is fruit forward with unmistakable red fruit notes of pomegranate, red apple and Bing cherry. The red fruit continues onto the palate and is joined by flavors of dried figs and baking spices. The finish is long and complex with a hint of chocolate covered cherries.

Pairing Suggestion:
With both bright fruit flavors and savory tones, this wine is perfect for pairing with foods with multiple layers of flavor. We recommend pairing it with butternut squash and beef stew.
